AG1 ad: a woman with curly hair in a blue top eats a gummy and holds a green AG1 pack against a grey backdrop. Over the top, four text bubbles in the look of iMessage. Grey: Wait, AG1 has gummies? Blue: Yep, Essentials Gummies. Your first month is $29. Grey: Do I need a code? Blue: No code needed. Nov 1-15 only. A line of fine print runs along the bottom.

  2. OfferPrice, code question and deadline are chat lines.
  3. Fine printThe terms sit in one line at the bottom.

Counted from AG1 ads in the Meta Ad Library whose picture is this artwork (text bubbles over a photo of a woman eating a gummy). The text is drawn in the image, which the library cannot search, so the Page's 431 active image ads were saved and the text in every picture was read. Five ads show the picture: one from 1 Nov and four from 5 Nov. The four from 5 Nov are flagged as under 100 impressions, so they are left out and only the 1 Nov ad is counted. Lock-screen notification pictures and a web page with a pop-up chat are different creatives and are not counted. Only active ads were saved, so earlier or ended runs are not counted. Video ads were not judged. TikTok was not checked.

01 The hook

"Wait, AG1 has gummies?"

The hook is a question: "Wait, AG1 has gummies?". It sits in a dark grey bubble on the left, drawn like an iMessage bubble, floating over a grey studio backdrop. Under it a blue bubble answers: "Yep, Essentials Gummies. Your first month is $29**". Below the bubbles a woman with curly hair eats a gummy and holds a green AG1 pack. There is no phone frame, status bar or contact name: only the bubbles and the photo.

02 The offer

First month of Essentials Gummies for $29, Nov 1-15 only, no code needed

The offer sits inside the thread. A second grey bubble asks "Do I need a code?" and the blue answer is "No code needed. Nov 1-15 only.", so the price, the code question and the end date all read as chat lines. A line of fine print runs along the bottom of the picture. The caption repeats the offer ("Your first month of AG1 Essentials Gummies: $29, Nov 1-15 only.** No code needed.**") and its fine print says the offer is valid 11/1/26 to 11/15/26, for new subscribers only, and that $29 applies to the first 30-day shipment of a new subscription that renews at $49 until canceled. In the Ad Library the card's headline is "Try AG1 Essentials Gummies for $29.**" with a Shop Now button.

04 Why it works

This is a reading of the creative, not proof of results: the Ad Library shows when ads ran, not how they performed. The thread does one job per bubble: the news (AG1 has gummies), the price, the objection (a code) and the deadline. The opening question is the one a reader might ask, so the product news arrives as a surprise, not an announcement. The photo shows the product being eaten, so the bubbles do not have to describe it. It reads like a text thread, but it is laid over a studio photo with no phone frame, so it is the chat look styled, not a screenshot. The same picture runs in five ads: one started on 1 Nov 2026 and four started on 5 Nov in one card ("4 ads use this creative and text"). The library flags those four as low impression count (under 100 impressions), so only the 1 Nov ad is counted, and the numbers will change as the four clear the flag. The offer window is 1 to 15 Nov 2026, so the creative is tied to that date range. Other phone-screen style pictures on the Page, such as a fake lock-screen notification, are different creatives and were not counted. Only active ads were saved, so earlier runs, if there were any, are not in the numbers.

05 Steal this

Brief these tomorrow
Open with the question a reader would ask. Here the news is the question: "Wait, AG1 has gummies?"
Put the objection in the thread ("Do I need a code?") and answer it in the next bubble.
Write the deadline into the last bubble, so it is the last thing read.
Keep the product in the photo and use the bubbles for the offer.
